Any other form of proof of documentation will usually be demanded for verification purposes.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5 dir=\"ltr\"><b>Steps to incorporating a company in Malaysia\u00a0<\/b><\/h5>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Step 1: Decision-making for company name reservation\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No fee is taken to check the availability of the company name proposed.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A filing fee of RM 50 is required to reserve a name with the SSM for a period of 30 days.\u00a0 During the period of reservation, the SSM will not allow the use of the reserved name by any other person. The company may purchase a Certificate of Incorporation from the Companies Commission of Malaysia at a prescribed fee.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5 dir=\"ltr\"><b>What you need to know after company incorporation\u00a0<\/b><\/h5>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The company is considered brought to life after the incorporation process is completed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You\u2019ll need to appoint a company secretary if you don\u2019t have one.
